We prepare and protect the underside carefully, using products that are safe around rubbers, plastics and factory coatings. The aim is to slow corrosion, seal vulnerable areas and leave a neat, even finish that also makes rinsing off road grime quicker.
Lanoguard creeps into seams and fasteners, bonding to the metal to form a moisture barrier. It does not remove existing rust, but it helps halt progression by sealing out water and oxygen. Over time it can seep under light surface oxidation and improve the finish.
For best results, an annual top-up is recommended. The underbody can be lightly rinsed as part of normal washing; heavy build-up should be softened with a gentle pre-wash before rinsing.
